All new players AND all existing TBR players must register/pay on line. The 2017 registration fee $225. Go to www.tauntonbaberuth.com and follow the instructions on how to register and pay.
**NEW INCOMING PLAYERS MUST REGISTER BY 2/7/16**
**EXISTING ROSTERED PLAYERS MUST REGISTER BY 2/5/16 TO SECURE THEIR ROSTER SPOT FOR THE 2017 SEASON**
Tryouts for new incoming players are scheduled for Saturday, February 11th at TBR Grand Slam Training Facility (391 W. Water St.) between 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
New players that have not yet played for Taunton Babe Ruth are REQUIRED to try out for a roster spot. New players trying out will be assigned a specific time to arrive for the tryouts to minimize waiting time (note, registrations paid in full will be able to choose your actual tryout time, otherwise a time will be assigned). Players trying out should plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to warm-up and your actual tryout time will be anywhere between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Your confirmed/assigned tryouts time will also be posted on our website on or around February 8th. Depending on number of registrations received/available roster spots, not everyone that tries out may be drafted to a team.
Players trying out should wear baseball pants (sweatpants or shorts permitted); indoor athletic/training/sneaker shoes (no cleats allowed); and a t-shirt/sweatshirt. Make sure you bring a baseball glove, bat, and batting helmet (note, we do have spares of all these items that can be used at tryouts if you currently do not have these items on hand at this time), and water (vending machines available also to purchase water, Gatorade, or snacks). Tryouts take approximately 45-60 minutes per group from arrival for warm-ups to completion of try-outs.
Existing TBR Players that were already on a team do not try out but MUST STILL REGISTER. **If your registration/payment is not received, your roster spot will be opened to a new player**
TBR Grand Slam will also be holding baseball clinics in the near future. Clinics will be posted soon on our website www.tauntonbaberuth.com.
